4ALL XPression Bridge

4ALL XPression Bridge is the local connection between a 4ALL Cloud event and Ross XPression. An operator signs in, selects an organization, event, language, and output protocol, then uses the generated endpoint or payload in the XPression workflow. The Bridge carries live cloud caption text to graphics; it does not perform local speech recognition or include Ross XPression.

Does the Bridge create captions without the cloud platform?

No. XPression Bridge is a final-mile connector. Caption creation, translation, and event management happen in the 4ALL platform.

Must Bridge run on the XPression computer?

It can run on the XPression workstation or another supported computer that the XPression system can reach over the production network. The chosen topology must be tested.

Is Ross XPression included?

No. Ross XPression and its licensing, templates, DataLinq configuration, and operation remain separate from the 4ALL XPression Bridge.

Does an XPression graphic count as closed captions?

The graphic is visible text rendered into the production composition. It is not the same as carrying embedded CEA-608/708 caption data that a downstream viewer can toggle.
